Hello! This is Naoki from Khaosan Sapporo
Family Hostel writing!
This article is the first of few articles I
am going to write in the near future as introductions of Khaosan Sapporo Family
Hostel, so that you know what kind of place Khaosan Sapporo Family Hostel is
before deciding to stay!
First of all, Khaosan Sapporo Family Hostel
is a family friendly hostel! If you are not really familiar with what a hostel is, a
hostel is a budget accommodation that is suited for either solo or group
travelers who are looking for a cheaper alternative to hotels. It makes sense
because when you are traveling, you will be outside exploring, so you don’t want
to spend a lot of money for a room in the hotel in which you will only be staying for a couple of hours a day. What you really need is a nice bed and
pillow in a warm room to rest, a clean shower and bathroom, and a wide
comfortable living room where you can share your stories with fellow travelers,
which is exactly what hostel offers. Also, many of our guests told us that the reason they chose to stay in a hostel is that a hostel provides more personal support and information such as; which great restaurants to eat at, where to go shopping, where to go for a day trip, which park to go to spend a nice evening with the significant other, and some hidden spots for sightseeing and eating!
But why is it family friendly? It`s because
we have set and designed the hostel to be a place where families can enjoy
their time! We provide some entertainment families can enjoy together such
as Wii, card games, board games, table tennis, and much more!
I think you have got the idea of what a
hostel is. So now I am going to tell you bit by bit about Khaosan Sapporo
Family Hostel!
For today, I am going to tell you about the
living room and the kitchen of Khaosan Sapporo Family Hostel! I can tell you
that the living room of Khaosan Sapporo Family Hostel is one magical place
where you can meet a lot of people from around the world!
You can instantly
make friends from many countries! We have a wide living room equipped with Tatami and
Kotatsu (Japanese style heater table), wide tables, and a widescreen TV. For
you who always wanted to wear Yukata, we have some Yukatas in the living room
for to try for free! You can always ask the friendly staff at the reception
if you need help to put the Yukata on! All of these facilities and the entertainment
are set to make your stay in this hostel feel like home.
Next to the living room is the kitchen
where you can cook your favorite home dishes! We have a well-equipped kitchen;
refrigerators, toasters, microwave, rice cooker, frying pans, pots, knives,
spoons, chopsticks, lots of plates and bowls, and some free condiments. We have free tea and coffee
too!
In a corner of the kitchen, we also put
some Muslim-friendly equipment and utensils where Muslim people can confidently
use them without worrying if the utensils have been used for non-Halal food.
I think, that’s it for now! The next article
will be about the staff; a little introduction about them that explains why we
are such an International hostel!
