I my opinion, Sapporo Classic is the best beer in Japan! And it doesn't surprise that the best beer comes from Hokkaido, as this is the birthplace of beer in Japan.
Sapporo Breweries has been brewing beer since 1877 and it's famous all over Japan and abroad. In 1987, the Beer Museum (apparently the only one in Japan) opened its doors. The building itself is a former brewery. Honestly, the museum is rather small and it doesn't have many exhibits in English, but you have never seen a cuter way to explain how beer is made!
Once you have seen everything you will end up at the beer tasting. What a great way to finish your visit to the beer museum.
And if you want more, there is a beer garden just next to the museum, that offers delicious Genghis Khan BBQ and of course delicious beer!
